Directions to the hall.

Mountfield is located just 9 miles north of Hastings, and 3 miles north of Battle, just off the A2100, before John's Cross and Vinehall Street.
From the Hastings or Eastbourne direction, travel first to Battle.  From Battle take the A2100 for 3 miles, and then take the local sign to "Mountfield, 12th Century Church & Brightling" just after the railway crossing on the left.
If you're coming from the A21 Hawkhurst/Robertsbridge direction, take the A2100 turn off at the roundabout (also signed for Mountfield), and then the next right hand turn is the local turn off for Mountfield (if you get to the railway line, you've gone too far).
From the Rye direction, take the B2089 to Vinehall Street, and then the find the A2100.  Follow the road into Mountfield, past the church on the left, past the pond on the right, and the Hall is on the left side of the road (you may see a sign for "Photonic Science" from the road, which is a business behind the hall.  Good parking on site, disabled access and disabled toilets.  Fantastic scenery!
